Our Story
OzMozis Lda, which is located in Maputo, was founded in 2009 by Michael Baxter to provide quality support to development and investment, particularly in Mozambique.
Khovete Panguene, Managing Partner, joined OzMozis in 2010. She brought the strongest Mozambican orientation to our leadership.
We focus on development program design and delivery, field surveys, the rural and resources sectors, risk assessment, and investor support.
The insights on the Mozambique political, business and investment environment that we have gained from our fifteen years as an SME add value to all our tasks.

Approach
Each assignment is a new task for which we research from contemporary and historic sources, collect and process quality data, undertake original analysis and reporting, and present clear and practical conclusions.
We use:
Qualitative and quantitative methods.
Literature and database research, including multi-lingual literature sources.
Surveys of households, businesses, and individuals for evaluation data and for specific topics, using SurveyCTO, CSPro, OKD, GIS, Excel, SPSS, Stata, etc., as appropriate.
Interviews of individuals and group discussions for guided and open-ended inquiry.
Financial and economic analysis.
Hands-on management contributions and accountability, including in quality assurance.
Attaining high quality in processes and products is central to our operation. At each stage of an activity, senior staff is active in quality monitoring and support.
